GELAXINA ATO

Description:

Alimentary gelatine desiccated with the “spray dry” system, ideal for treatment of strongly tannic wines.

Very pure, atomised and readily soluble in cold water, it produces perfectly clear solutions, free from gelling power. It is of “pigskin” origin. To be used for sensory purposes. Moderately clearing.

Ideal for the treatment of astringent tannin-wines.

It does not originate from genetically modified organisms (GMO-free) and is free from the risk of BSE.

FPS

Description:

Vegetable carbon, specific adsorbent

A specific phenolic adsorbent, FPS is a very pure product with low leachable metal content. Due to its specific characteristics and porosity the Research and Development department recognised its ability to selectively absorb pigments, small molecules and ethyl phenols. It has good decolouring power and helps to remove anthocyanins and easily oxidisable oligomers, which are a cause of chromatic instability.

FLOTTOPLUS 2.0

Description:

Powdered product with high electrical surface charge, specific for floatation and static clarification.

  • Applied successfully in floatation clarification of musts and fruit juices.
  • The product guarantees obtaining a hydrophobic floccule that is able to adhere easily to the gas used in the floatation process.

FLOTTOGEL

Description:

Food-grade pigskin gelatin, powder form. Applied in clarification of musts and fruit juices via the processes of flotation.

  • The product guarantees obtaining a hydrophobic floccule that is able to adhere easily to the gas used in the flotation process.
  • Recommended low tannicity wines to clarify or improve the filterability of the product. Respects both the structure and the color.

Description:

Powdered activated vegetal carbon with the ideal chemical-physical characteristics to easily adhere to the flotation gas.

  • Adsorbent action, particularly effective against to anthocyanins and easily oxidizable oligomers, which can be a source of instability in white wines.
  • High decolorizing action without modification of the organoleptic qualities of the treated product.

FITOPROTEINA XP

Description:

Polycompound formulation with a specific clarifying activity.

A careful evaluation of the electrical charge of FITOPROTEINA XP made by using the “Streaming Current Detector” makes it similar to the best clarifying gelatins.

FITOPROTEINA XP is a complex clarifier that has a clarifying activity on must and wines preserving wine characteristics; for this reason it can be used during finishing, pre-bottling. 

In any case, when required, it’s possible to use MASTERVIN® COMPACT after FITOPROTEINA XP.
